I think it really depends on what you’re looking for! If you know the area or concentration you’re most interested in, check out the profs and see if there’s anyone in that field that you think could be a potential mentor. Talk to folks who have been a part of the program, talk to the office staff, talk to any professor you think you might be interested in taking a class from. Basically, just get in there and get as much in-depth info as you possibly can to see if it’s a program that you think will mesh well with your interests.
