I have to disagree with something you said. Not only women have vaginas. Saying that only women have vaginas alienates and excludes the trans*community, because some women have penises, and some men have vaginas, not to mention all the nonbinary people in the world. Anatomy and biology don't determine one's gender identity any more than they do one's sexual orientation.
I think you misunderstood the question/answer. annabanan was being sarcastic, noting that the ads assumed that “only women have vaginas,” and I was commenting on how yes, the ads assume as much and therefore fail on multiple levels. So totally agree with what you’re saying, I think you just didn’t get the sarcastic back-and-forth there. [...]
